Westside Woofers Thank You for Grand Junction Flyball Tournament

Thanks to everyone who came to this year’s Westside Woofers flyball
tournament in Grand Junction and to the many who came to our Saturday
barbeque. This year, for the first time Woofers had four teams and four
teams came up from New Mexico. Good to see so many teams from the Land
of Enchantment.

Special congratulations to Anie for earning her Onyx and congratulations
to everyone who earned a new title, especially those who were in their
first tournament.

Special thanks to our head judge, Mike Smith, from the Houston area, who
was making his first trip to Grand Junction and to Danny Fitts for being
the relief judge. Good to see Danny in action again.

We have been kept really busy with our new border collie puppy which we
got from Mark and Lydia on Monday morning. We have decided to name her
“Zing.” She seems to be bonding well with her new
“pack” and is really active (when not sleeping). We’re
looking forward to working with her in both agility and flyball.

Hope to see everyone again next year.
