Caring for the Canine Athlete With Dr Laurie McCauley Seminar, Saturday, Nov 5, 2011

Dr McCauley, co-author of Building the Canine Athlete DVD, will be conducting a seminar on Saturday, November 5 from 8am-4pm in Milton, TN.

The goal of this seminar is to instruct us in preventative care for our dogs with the hope that they will have long, injury free careers in whatever activity they enjoy. Many of our canine partners have weaknesses structurally or otherwise that leaves them open to possible injury if not addressed. Dr McCauley will help us recognize where our dogs may needs some extra work to keep them at their peak performance and she will show us exercises that will create a stronger, more balanced dog. We will also explore the role of proper warm-up, stretching, and cool-down exercises for our dogs. Working teams will have hands on experience with the exercises during the seminar, with Dr McCauley there to provide guidance.
